Artwork Corporate Sponsors

LETTER FROM BRUCE LAWSON AND KAREN MILLS

Art with Heart 2005 is a great blend of the tried and true, new and different. As new co-chairs of this event, we have benefited from many long-established relationships, while having the opportunity to bring new perspectives to the table.

M.A.C's commitment to helping those with HIV and AIDS is unparalleled. A constant supporter of Casey House, we thank M.A.C Viva Glam for their lead sponsorship again this year. Thanks also to TD Waterhouse for their sponsorship of the Emerging Artists Collection, continuing our association with TD Bank Financial Group, Casey House's largest corporate supporter. And, we welcome Vespa Canada to our family as a new sponsor of Art with Heart!

James Lahey is the only artist whose work has been a part of every collection. So our choice for an artist to create this year's Gallery of Patron's offering seemed clear. Thank you James for your unwavering support!

In moving to The Carlu, not only do we have a new home, but a new extended family. Thanks to
everyone there for making us feel so welcome.

Our Curatorial Board has assembled an incredible collection. We are indebted to Brady Schmidt, Carly Butler and Tien Huang for their Herculean efforts. To Bau-Xi Gallery, who has provided us with our preview space, we are indebted to you. We are also grateful to PACART for ensuring the safe arrivals of works from near and far.

We couldn't have asked for a better design team than Laurie Plater and Wendy Fowler at Bhandari and Plater. Many thanks also to our photographers: Colin Faulkner for the portraits and image showing how hands can make the heart come alive, and Toni Hafkenscheid and John MacDonald for photographing the work in the catalogue.

To the artists and galleries who have donated works this year thank you. We are inspired by your talent and couldn't do it without you.

Finally, thank you for being a part of the Casey House family. And, remember: bid high and bid often!
